En el año 2004 puse en marcha una idea que tenía en mente desde hace mucho tiempo, esta consistía en compaginar mi mayor afición , la radio al aire libre, desde una zona privilegiada . Después de buscar varios lugares me decidí por la zona de La Arboleda.
Situada a más de 400 metros de altura con unas maravillosas vistas al mar decidí que ese sería el lugar para mis transmisiones como estación EA2AFL/P. Todo esto se inicio con la ilusión de trabajar algún concurso en SSTV, aunque todavía no lo he hecho no pierdo la esperanza.
A lo largo de este tiempo he probado varias antenas todas ellas para HF, dipolo “V” invertida monobanda para 80 Mts., dipolo rígido Cushcraft 10/15/20/40 Mts. , hoy en día la tengo en mi estación base, también un dipolo “V” invertida llamado MORGAIN para 40/80 Mts. también esta en mi estación base, aunque mi mayor interes ha sido siempre preparar una buena antena para 14Mhz. ya que ahí se concentra el 90% de la actividad en SSTV por eso he dedicado mis esfuerzos a construir un dipolo rígido monobana para 20 Mts. y recientemente una directiva de dos elementos. En los próximos años espero poder construir una monobanda 3 elem. y tal vez hasta 4 elem. si consigo un buen sistema de izado del mástil. Muchas de estas pruebas las realizo para trasladarlas posteriormente a mi estación base y conseguir mejorar en los resultados de los diferentes concursos de SSTV. Para estas pruebas, he contado como siempre con la ayuda de mi padre Fernando EA2DML y también de mis colegas Jose Mari (EA2FM), Iñaki (EA2CSI) y Luis EA2DIH entre otros, desde aquí quiero agradecerles su compañía con momentos inolvidables y una gran ayuda desinteresada. Sin ellos no hubiera sido posible levantar los sistemas radiantes que me he propuesto testar.

In the next years I expect to be able to construct a monoband 3 elem. and maybe even 4 elem. if I obtain a good system of hoisted of the mast. Many of these tests are realized by me to move them later to my base station and to manage to improve in the results of SSTV's different contests. For these tests I have relied on like always the help of my father Fernando EA2DML and also of my colleagues Jose Mari (EA2FM), Iñaki (EA2CSI) and Luis EA2DIH between others, from here I want to be grateful for his company to them with unforgettable moments and a great disinterested help.
